The following is another one of my favorite poems by the british poet Christopher Logue. It was written in 1968 for a festival in honor of the 50th anniversary of the death of the french poet Guillaume Apollinaire.

I hope you enjoy :)

~ Come to the Edge ~

Come to the edge.

We might fall.

Come to the edge.

It's too high!

Come to the edge.

And they came,

and we pushed,

And they flew.

Christopher Logue
